For the current NCE, Counseling Skills and Interventions is 30% and Areas of Clinical Focus is 29% of scored questions. This plan allocates the most practice to those areas while revisiting every domain.

Taking the exam from July 2027?
Use the new six-domain outline instead of the current domain weighting. The 2027 NCE has 170 questions and allows 3 hours 45 minutes with an optional 15-minute halfway break.
